Every Breath, The Forest Of Taiwan Speak.
This illustration was created for the VIP sustainability gift project " Green Gift " combining nature,
scent, botanical symbolism, and the memory of Taiwan's land. It tells a poetic story — the forest of Taiwan is softly speaking.
The featured plant, Senecio scandens, is a species endemic to Taiwan.
Symbolizing clarity and gentle protection, it invites us to rediscover a quiet connection with the land through breath and stillness.

SENECIO ｜ENDEMIC TO TAIWAN
Senecio scandens is a flowering plant native and endemic to Taiwan,
commonly found in mid- to low-altitude mountain regions. Belonging to the aster family,
it is known for its graceful leaves, delicate blossoms, and feathery seeds that drift softly in the wind.
Traditionally regarded as a healing herb, its name implies “ clarity across a thousand miles. ”
It symbolizes gentle resilience, protection, and inner clarity—a quiet messenger of the forest and a silent keeper of the land’s breath.

台灣特有種：千里光，是台灣中低海拔山區常見的菊科植物
其葉形小巧秀麗，花朵細緻，果實輕盈隨風飄落，具野性之美
名稱寓意「望之千里，明目清心」，古時常入藥，象徵守護、清明與柔韌的力量
千里光靜靜生長於山林之間，是土地最溫柔的觀察者，也是森林氣息的微光傳遞者
